Are you interested in joining the world class Perfat® R&D team in Helsinki, Finland? You will have the opportunity to work at our own labs and participate in developing leading-edge products that will enable people to live healthier lives by improving the nutritional profile of the foods we love to consume. In particular, we would like to engage you in managing customer specific joint development projects and product innovations in close cooperation with leading regional and global food producers.

We expect you to have a PhD in Food Science, or a related subject, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the R&D function of a high-quality food manufacturer. In addition to your experience in food product R&D, ideally with products containing fats, oils, and/or their substitutes, we would expect you to be familiar with food structure design elements, as well as equipment and analytical tools used in this field and and the yellow fat industry (e.g. high shear mixers/homogenizers, spray dryers as well as analytical tools such as optical microscope, rheometer, mastersizer, zetasizer, texture analyzer, DSC, GC, etc.). You should be able to work both independently with your own ideas as well as part of a dynamic team, sharing and brainstorming ideas.
